[PORT][4.1.2] SlimBean 3.1.0 for Xperia Sola [Stable][16/01/2014]

Features:

Slimbean ROM (www.slimroms.net) was founded with the Introduction of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean bringing the AOSP with famous cherry picks from CyanogenMod, CNA and AOKP code. As the name suggests for itself, this ROM is slimmed out, removing all the useless stuff. Slimbean ROMs are very little in size ~90MB but please don’t go on its size, since someone rightly said; “big surprises come in small packages“. The ROM features ASS (Advanced Slim Settings) based on the CNA Settings layout which can be viewed under System Settings of your device. ASS offers its users with high end modifications and custom features like Interface, Performance, Theme Engine support and Device Settings modifications. Apart from the features that this ROM delivers, it also provides you with Stability, appreciable battery life and performance.

Installation:
  • Reboot in recovery (if you don't have it in your current rom, flash with fastboot the boot.img from slimbean zip)
  • Wipe data/factory reset
  • Wipe cache & dalvik cache
  • Flash SlimBean zip
  • Flash slim-gapps
  • Reboot

    Since Slimbean thrad is closed am reporting here.....The Rom Slimbean by @ShoaibAhmed is a rocking ROM...use Experimental 12 kernal...and....
    Amazing battery Life
    Tons of Customizations
    Extremely Stable
    Magnificent UI
    Bautifully Error free
    Great Ram Management
    No Foreclosures....List goes on and on

    Thanks Shoaib...Just one more request to make.....

    Can you look into the camera....How to improve quality and focus time...I tried lot of custom apps but with no luck...Otherwise awesome.
    Please do keep updating the ROM for better and as of now I can say it beats any rom presently available for SOLA

      you need to update binary via WiFi or mobile data.

      open supersu and click on update binary , you must have connected via Wifi/ mobile Data.

      or Download flahable Superuser or SuperSU and flash it in CWM.

      I notice the same prob, updating binaty make a supersu crash
      I've installed http://downloads.noshufou.netdna-cdn.com/superuser/Superuser-3.1.3-arm-signed.zip from CWM and all is ok
      but try to 'fix permissions' first maybe it ll help

      With Fix permissions didn't worked, i flash from Jakup link and now it's ok. Will test it! ;-)

    Did you notice too low Antutu score on that ROM (I've check on FXP, Experimental and BE kernels)?
    With XNovathor V5 and WolfROM V2 i had score 9300-9700
    With SlimBean 7400-7700

    @ShaibAhmed any scope of update on the ROM.Can you remove CPU stat settings and add performance control...I have read it to be a better performer.
    So also camera is laggy after a while....playstore apps make no difference

      cm10 after install.
      Use the one in rom zip to install. then flash cm10 experimental kernel v12 and run like lightning. Battery 45 % better backup and efficient

    Is it normal for this ROM to drain 100% battery within 20 hours? I only take voice calls for about 30 minutes in a day and didn't even turn Wifi ON during these 20 hours. So basically i used the phone for those 30 minutes.

    Is there any way to make the battery last 48 hours like it did in ICS Roms? Or is it the nature of JB roms to drain battery faster?

    Hello, I want to flash this ROM, but I get Status 7 error in cwm when I'm flashing the ROM. I am currently on stock ICS, unlocked bootloader, and cwm touch recovery 5.5.0.1. Appreciate your efforts for this port.
